1. Sīva Thera. A monk of Ceylon, an eminent teacher of the Vinaya. Vin.v.3.

3. Sīva. King of Ceylon (522 A.C.). He was the maternal uncle of Kumāradhātusena, whom he killed in order to seize the throne. He reigned only twenty five days, and was killed by Upatisssa. Cv.xli.1-5.


4. Sīva.-A village near Giritimbilatissa-pabbata. Ras.ii.42.
