A king of Kālinga.
He was a Cakka-vatti, but when he was riding his elephant through the air, he could not pass over the spot where the bodhi tree was (Mil. p. 256).
The reference is evidently to the story in the Kālingabodhi Jātaka, but there the king's name is not given. J.iv.232f.
