2. Mahānāga viharā. A monastery built by Aggabodhi I. in memory of King Mahānāga (Cv.xlii.24) (see Mahānāga 16). Jetthatissa III. assigned the villages of Mātulangana and Odumbarangana to the padhānaghara there. Cv.xliv.98.
