Son of Saddhā-Tissa and younger brother of Lańjaka-Tissa. He was king of Ceylon (50-43 B.C.).
Among his religious works was the construction of the Kurundavāsoka Vihāra.
He was killed by the general Mahārattaka. Khallātanāga's wife was Anulā, and his son was Mahācūlika. Mhv.xxxiii.29ff.; Dpv.xx.12f.
