Son of Mahallanāga and king of Ceylon for twenty-four years (203- 227 A.C.).
He built a wall round the Mahā-vihāra.
He erected the Gavaratissa- and Bhātikatissa-vihāras and built the Mahāmani tank, and also built an uposatha hall in the Thūpārāma.
